"Horns and Halos" is the title of the upcoming Michael Monroe album and it's going to be released on 23rd August 2013 via Spinefarm Records. The seventh studio album by the former Hanoi Rocks frontman was recorded at the "Park Studio" in Sweden's capital Stockholm.
Due to the announcement that a new Michael Monroe album will be out in April 2013, fans are wondering why it has been rather quiet about the band around the former Hanoi Rocks frontman lately. Attention, Michael Monroe fans in Finland!
Instead of a whole tour, the Michael Monroe Band (Picture by Mika Jussila) will play only one club gig this spring, on 20th April 2013 (Saturday) at "Virgin Oil" in Finland's capital Helsinki. Michael Monroe joined Slash (Velvet Revolver, Guns N’ Roses) on stage this past Tuesday (February 19) at Hartwall Areena in Helsinki, Finland to perform the songs "We're All Gonna Die" and "Magic Carpet Ride". Fan-filmed video footage of his appearance can be seen below.
Confusion around Michael Monroe guitarist Dregen: After cancelling their planned gig at the "Eurosonic Noorderslag" in the Netherlands with the reason that "Mini Dregen is on his way to this world a bit earlier than planned and Papa Dregen has the most important job in the world, to welcome a mini version of him and show him his first moves" [Neon Lights reported: http://neon-lights.info/news/michael-monroe-band-guitarist-dregen-has-become-a-father], the birth of Dregen's son Sixten took place just now, almost one month after the cancellation of the festival gig.
