With "X", The 69 Eyes are going to release their meanwhile tenth studio album on 28th September 2012 in Europe and on 9th October 2012 in North America via Nuclear Blast Records.
"X" follows a "Made in Sweden" concept, therefore it was produced in Sweden's capital Stockholm. The music video for the first single from "X", "Red", has been filmed by the Swedish director Patric Ullaeus in Gothenburg / Sweden. And last but not least, the "Helsinki Vampires" have a marketing campaign going on with "Kopparberg", a cider brand from - surprise, surprise - Sweden. If you buy two bottles of "Kopparberg" cider at "R-Kioski" (A chain of convenience stores in Finland), you will get the new single "Red" for free.
"X" will be available in a Jewel Case version and in a CD/DVD Digipak version. Furthermore, there will be a green Vinyl available. The tracklist will be as followed:
01. Love Runs Away
04. If You Love Me The Morning After
06. I Love The Darkness In You
08. I'm Ready
09. I Know What You Did Last Summer
10. When A Love Comes To An End
The Bonus DVD of the CD/DVD Digipak version also includes:
- Red (Video Single)
- Made In Sweden - Stockholm & The 69 Eyes (Documentary)
So far, it's unclear what happened to the song "Rosary Blue" whose backing vocals were sung by the American tattoo icon Kat Von D. But don't worry: Neon Lights will keep you informed...
